How does the assistant know who is calling?
Before booking, moving or cancelling an appointment, the assistant identifies the caller by national ID number (fødselsnummer) — which can be entered on the phone keypad — and checks the date of birth against the journal system. -
Do we need to change our phone number or provider?
No. The office's existing number is connected to NorgeVox, so patients keep calling the same number as before. -
Does the AI assistant give medical advice?
No. NorgeVox handles administrative requests such as booking appointments and taking messages. Clinical questions are referred to the office's healthcare staff, and callers with acute symptoms are told to call 113 or the out-of-hours emergency service (legevakt). -
